Has anyone experimented in switching with wiring the 5w Switch so that you can have the bridge pickup and the Neck pickup on simultaneously in the second position rather than the bridge and middle?

thanks.

That is a great question, I have not tried that one yet. I have three way Tele switch on one of my strats that has only neck and bridge pickups.

it looks pretty easy... just switch the two solder points. It makes the switching a little jumbled but i'm not bothered about that. As long as it sounds cool. I rarely used the middle anyway so thought i'd give it a whirl.

If the wires will reach, why not just physically swap the neck and middle pickups? Exact same effect without the soldering. 8)

call me lazy but soldering two points in reverse is far easier than unscrewing 4 screws, moving the Pups and redressing the wire for neatness.

Whatever works. Call me a guy who owns a screwdriver but not a soldering iron.
