A bit of an off the wall question, but does any know of a guitar stand made for (or suitable for) a double-neck guitar?

http://www.guitar-collector.org/viewtop ... f=10&t=353

Although they're reasonably rare, there have been thousands of double-necks made over the years, so sureley some enterprising company has made a stand for them?

Any suggestions welcome!

P

Mine sits fine on a regular stand. Of course, a special stand would hold it more securely in a high traffic area ... I suppose I should try to take a pic of it in a regular stand ...

I do have a picture of it on a "regular stand" ... it's stable enough!

Where did you find that Strat? It's nice.

yeah, it's pretty nice. I made it almost 3 years ago. It's a Warmoth body (they painted the Sonic Blue), a couple of necks from 2 MIM Standards, and some old Fender pickups I had lying around.

Red Paul, what kind of doubleneck do you have?

And, yes, the hard-tail neck of my doubleneck is usually in an alternate tuning (and capoed). The trem neck is in standard tuning.

Two wall hangers side-by side work perfectly...

...and look tres cool...

...but you have to make real, real, real, real, real careful to space them properly; most doubles have different neck and head profiles. Highly recommended: String Swing product.

Hi OrvilleOwner, I was actually enquiring on behalf of someone on my guitar collector's forum at guitar-collector.org - he's got a "Bizarre doubleneck, apparently the result of mating a Hayman Modular body/electronics to a pair of Vox necks" !!

I like your doubleneck Strat... althought a 6+6 seems strange at first, it actually makes a lot of sense. 8)

A good idea - and I like Swing String products... I fitted out my guitar storage with 5 of them, top-mounted! See here- http://guitar-collector.org/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=227
