Dunno about safes, but there are a few big cases you can get that can hold up to 4 guitars and one average 40 watt amp, and all the equpment you need.

Maybe you should ask Alain about it. I know guys with huge collections have vault space but I believe you are more worried about theft than storage. Just make sure you have them insured for now. Just this year my friend had his house broken into and 4 guitars taken, meanwhile in the other room he had 70 axes. They caught them as it was 2 guys and a girl that did 18 burglaries. His insurance paid for the guitars but he never got them back, which is what he would of rather happen than the money.

I would think any large gun safe would be suitable to hold guitars as well. Very secure and usually fireproof. Expensive and extremely heavy are the down sides... if you can call those problems. A number of companies make them, Browning is a good one, just Google gun safes and browse to your heart's content. 8)

Some companies do make safes specifically for guitars - some discussion and examples here (with some great photos too!)...

Hello Wilburcook,

Gunsafes not really appropriate for musical instruments,
sure it'll keep em safe but won't properly keep them in a
"safe" atmosphere unless additional humidifier/dehumidifer
units are installed. Food for thought.

Cheers.

You could try these folks: www.acousticsaver.com they make humidity controlled storage cabinets for guitars.
