Good at:
Tremolo sustain: I do sustain relatively well with a whammy, I learned to use a whammy bar very quickly.

Trill tapping: I can trill tap pretty fast.

Bad at:
Finger vibrato: My hand has trouble moving properly at times.

I suck at playing slide guitar. Fortunately I don't like playing slide either so it all works out.

But seriously, folks...

Good at: Writing songs and coming up with riffs.
Bad at: Playing crazy fast, heavy metal style.

Hand vibrato Im not so good at...

Does anyone have any tips? I use my forearm, I should be using my hand or fingers

Also I find improvising solos a challenge trying to not make them sound predictable

Im good at learning by ear- I can pick up things really fast.

I just can't get the hang of finger picking,I've tried and tried over the years and my right hand refuses to cooperate.Even though I'm quite competent at other types of guitar styles I just can't finger pick after 45 yrs playing and have been shown by many good pickers but it just escapes me.
