Currently looking at Fenders and Ibanez's because im a 80's big hair metal wannabe player:P but most likely I'll get a nice japanese Contemporary Strat and then I nice Shred guitar like an Ibanez RG1451 with a Fixed Bridge because although im doing very well for my time playing (13 months) im still unable to play well on a Floyd rose Style Trem.

I'm starting to look at the Les Paul's but I like the feel of an SG a little better. Of course no purchase will be anytime soon. Hopefully there's a good sized tax refund coming up.

Well if you turn up the guitar and amp and face the guitar towards the amp it will probably feedback--especially with distortion (Tube or pedal or rack.)

But seriously, Duo Sonics are cool guitars.
Personally I prefer Mustangs, but I like Duo Sonics.
Fun guitars.

My GAS is over (mostly. just filling out the ranks :D )
I probably will buy a bass if I find a used "Squire standard P-bass special" for a really good price. (I am not a bass player, bit figure what the hay :) )

And same if I find a really good price on a used SG.

I do actually. I'm straying away from Fender on this one and getting an Epiphone Semi-Hollow Dot

Nothing wrong with those Squier Guitars. I absolutely love my CV 60 Stratocaster. I do not believe you are crazy. The CV Custom Tele plays really nice.
