Finally, NoNe :!:
I've squelched my GAS.
My plan is to get to retirement as soon as possible so I can spend more time playing what I have .

Although I have had accidental GAS in the past so you never now

I am going to get the new American Special SSS. I like the look of the red one. The Texas Specials give a voice to this guitar that is wonderful. I played one in the store the other night and it was awesome. All I need to save is 300 more dollars to be able to walk out the store with it.

No doubt about it - my next guitar will be a Tele. After that, I think I'll get another Tele. And then another...

I really would like to have a Bass VI and a Jaguar.

After them I'd probably get another Tele!

I have to say it is about time I owned a Les Paul myself. I also want to say that I purchased a few axes this year and the mod I did on my Beck Strat- removing the volume knob and pot has made it feel like a new guitar and better than anything I bought.

Because of my love of Freddie King, I'd like to someday get a Gibson 335 like he often played. It would have to be a Gibson, too, not an Epiphone or another copy. Which means I'll be saving up for a long while!

But for now, I'm very, very happy with my beautiful Stratocaster!

I have all the Fenders and Gibsons I need now but GAS never sleeps. I bought a Korean made Paul Reed Smith SE Singlecut Korina at Guitar Center's President's Day sale (love those 15% off coupons) and it's so good that now I'm GASsing for an American made Mira. Oof.

I've been saving for a Fender Coronado for about six months now. I need $1300, and I'm not there yet but I'm closer than I thought
I'd be at this point! :) Unfortunately all of my guitar repairs/modifications/set ups are on hold because of it, and I'm holding myself back from buying any pedals or amps. I'm holding in my GAS so to speak. :P It's definately a lesson in will power.
