I am fortunate to own 2 real amps. Both are totally sweet and the Fandango kicks 4SS!!. I also have a Blues Junior with all the BillM mods and used to have a Blues Deville 212.

Meh... whatever...
Once you own a real amp the entry level offerings lose credibility.

Woah, sweet 8)

PS, I dont know jack about amps, so I'm the wrong person to be asking amp re;ated about amps.

Neither. I killed a Bugera V22 on the showroom floor in less than 10 minutes. Bugera=Behringer=junk. I bought my HRDlx new and had tons of problems with it.

Keep looking, you can do a lot better for your money. I would never buy a used HRD amp without some balance left on the warranty. I sold mine and transferred the remaining 7 months warranty with it.

My suggestion is not to settle on price. A professional piece of gear will last decades. I have a 76 SF Twin that's 30+ years old. I gigged the snot out of it and it never let me down. My HRDlx failed 3 times on stage with different problems at different times and a couple more times at rehearsals and in the house.

Behringer/Bugera from what I understand does not design its own amps or effects. They take other manufacturers older designs and builds them with economy components and cheap labor to keep the price down and that's where the problem lies. Cheap components don't last long and cheap labor isn't always skilled labor.

Don't waste your money settling. As was mentioned before the amp is an important part of your sound. It also needs to be rock solid, sound great and be reliable.

I mean it died and some of the magic smoke came out of it on the showroom floor. I never got a chance to crank it. There is somebody on youtube who had a video of his new Bugera 5 watter that took a dump while he doing his video. It's kind of funny and sad at the same time.

You're usually better off getting a $300 or $400 solid state amp than a lower end tube amp. You'll have nothing but headaches with it. Some of the people who love the HRD and Bugera amps will defend them to the end. But in the 40+ years I've been playing, my HRDlx was the worst amp I've ever owned as far as reliability is concerned and I've owned quite a few amps in my time. The HRD was actually the only Fender amp I've ever had problems with so I wasn't really used to amps going up in smoke on any consistent basis.

The famed amp designer Mike Soldano is selling these

I would also consider a used Peavey Classic 30 before either of the amps you mentioned.

Don't settle for an unreliable or cheap amp. You'll get what you paid for usually at the worst time. The first time my HRDlx died, I figured, it happens and figured it would be okay. Then different things went wrong with it. IMHO it is not built for heavy gigging at all. I have a 36 year old Champ amp that I use all the time and it's never seen a shop.
