Absolutely, and bear this in mind when the going gets a bit tough......grandchildren are the reason parents don't kill their kids. :!: :P
Also...put a Squier Mini-Strat on lay away. There should be one standing next to where ever that child is sleeping, all through the years. 8) That will save your $@! way down the line.

Thanks guys. I think my wife felt the first kick in her bladder last night. She thought it was gas, but my guess is that the little guy/gal didn't like the asparagus we were eating. I'm transferring my guitar room into nursery today. I'm just gonna have to fit my stuff in a little smaller area. Man, oh man, I hope I can fit my '73 Twin Reverb somewhere.

That day has long since passed us by but my daughters have brought more joy into my life than I ever thought possible. My youngest daughter's best friend came by the other night and announced that she was 3 months pregnant,I said that the closest that we'll come to being grandparents because at the moment both my daughters are more focused on their careers and pets than having kids.Although they both have steady boyfriends they both express no current desire to make us grandparents. I can't wait to have grandkids to spoil(to an extent).

I got 5 girls... i'm SORELY outnumbered.

I just hope one of them takes to mowing the lawn.

Its rough for a couple of weeks but once the raisin falls off and they start sleeping throught the night, let the good times roll.

Best of luck to you guys.

Thanks everyone! Congratulations Captainc, we're also bringing a girl into this world. I plan on teaching her the wonders of music and the skill of lawn mowing. I've also just fixed up her car, if it lasts that long. It is a '68 Bug that was my first car and I just got it back on the road this weekend. It'll be hers one day.

we have a second girl on the way, due late August.

i bought a new '65 reissue Mustang yesterday, and that was fun, but new kid day is like new guitar day a thousand times over. your children are instantly vintage. incalculable worth.

have fun.

Hey everybody, my wife is now 15 weeks pregnant! I am now officially stoked!

My buddy's son has watched the same Eagles concert video since he was 6 months old, now at 2 1/2, he still watches that same video EVERY day. Sometimes twice. I hope my child has some musical love in him/her.

Anyone else in the same boat?
When my youngest son was a little kid 3 or 4 years old he watched an Eric Clapton concert tape endlessly, had all the moves down with a little plastic guitar, it was so funny to watch him...now he's 25 and can outplay most other pickers I have ever played with...I asked him if he remembered watching it as a kid and he barely does....so I guess he inherited my great talent. 8)
Congrats!!
