alanssaab, you'll coax some sounds out of that beautiful instrument and hopefully we will get to hear it.

Nice looking guitar Alan, I'll give you a bell later today. I can't get round to your place, my dog is confined to the house. He got a really nasty cut on his paw, vet had to remove the whole pad  So if you want to take a buzz down here, I'd love to hear the EPI through my Fender amps

An Epi LP was my first guitar...I eventually put Gibson 57 Classic and Classic + pickups in it and it sounded marvelous...good luck with it

Epi's are really nice guitars man, Gibson has treated their offshore brand properly. My son has an Epi Goth Les Paul that plays very nicely and my latest acquisition is a Epi Prophecy EX SG.

The only thing we've done to his LP to improve it was to change out the pickups it came with for a DiMarzio Evolution at the bridge and a DiMarzio Super 2 at the neck. My Prophecy came With an EMG 81/85 set up so it doesn't need a pickup change.

Very nice Alan! Love the color. I must because my favorite 2 that I own are black. Trouble keeping them clean but they are so good looking when polished up!! 8)

Stupid Question #2112-D:

Ummm, it is that a clothes dryer in the kitchen, or maybe the ultimate rice cooker? If so, either way, is this a common Scotland thing?

it's either a washing machine or tumle dryer and yes it's very common over here :)

You should be very happy with that. I have an Epi LP that I love still. It's a great little guitar. I often bounce back and forth between wanting to put in Gibson guts and keeping it or one day upgrading to a Gibson LP. MIne is currently stock and sounds great.
