Hi, Biertles. Yep, I'm a Sonoran Desert dweller. I live on an acre lot that is nothing but desert except for my house and the pool/patio area. Paradise Valley is a residential community between Phoenix and Scottsdale that is mostly developed desert.

Agreed on the Tobacco Sunburst. It was instant love when I first saw that Strat. :)

The classic western ranch style house, that actually fits this climate better than the McMansions, isn't quite dead yet. :wink:

I'm fortunate to have this house paid off, I don't plan on selling it anytime soon and I'm starting to get some property tax relief now because of the declining real estate values. More money left over to cope with GAS attacks. :lol:
