Came today...on top of the Super Lead. A 1971 JMP-50 small-box Tremolo head, all original and super clean. Even had the original trem footswitch.

Now I definitely have to sell the Reinhardt.

You've just triggered a droolfest, that's a beautiful amp,Pete Townshend favoured the trem heads, for good reason.I love pre JCM 900 Marshalls.

Hey Beaubs, glad to see some ELP lyrics...I saw then years ago at Madison Square Garden...1st row center...I happened to be driving by the garden when tickets went on sale..pulled into a garage, and ran to get tickets. I ended up with one of Carl Palmer's drumsticks...who knows where that went.

I pulled the chassis tonight and like what I saw...lots and lots of red dye at the solder joints :D

The 50 watter is going back to the seller...the trannies were change out or work on at some point in its history. Now I get to look for another one.

Unfortunately, it is being returned :( :(

As nice as it was and sounded great, it also had the OT replaced at some point; since I had bought this as a combination of player and very long term investment for Michael, having a non original tranny reduces the value wuite a bit. The board was perfect; all the solder points had red dye. A real shame; at least the buyer has no problem with it being returned.

It looked so nice sitting on top of the SL. The search continues; luckily, there seem to be new ones available just about every week; it's just a matter of finding the right one.
