I think that he wants Fender to bring back the CBS headstock. We would have one happy poster if they did that  A big cheer for shadowgrass3 and his amazingly huge headstocks!

Pointy ones apart from the flying V it's a classic , I'm talking klingon battle axe type, it's gonna take your eye out if the Rossi / Parfitt mood takes over

Company-produced clones may be "tributes" to the timeless beauty of Les Pauls, Strats, Teles, SGs, ES-335s....

...but they strike this mind as...

..."POSEURS! Tracing-paper-addict POSEURS! Go design your own (bleep)ing body and headstock and pickups and covers!"

super pointy guitars (like dean head stock - looks weird to me)
gold hardware
fake worn guitars

- I used to dislike flying V's but i have started to enjoy their shape a little, don't think i would ever own one but i don't hate them anymore.

I agree with most everyone's suggestions especially the "relic" look. but more so than looks
I hate unbalanced neck heavy guitars,
Any guitar over 8 lbs.
Any acoustic thicker than my arm is long between the shoulder and the elbow.
Any guitar design that digs into your gut after 3 hours and leaves a permanent mark.

I agree! I also don't like the looks of hot-rod pickups or mini-humbuckers. :?

This is cathartic. 8)

This may not be a very popular answer, but I'll say it anyway.

The Fender Jag-Stang. :?

This guitar is so ugly it makes me want to scream. Compared to the graceful, elegant curves and perfect proportions of the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster and--hell--just about every other guitar Fender makes, this monstrosity is awkward, freakish and downright ugly. It looks like a cartoon drawn by someone who doesn't know what guitars are supposed to look like. I hate hate hate the Jag-Stang.

Thank you. 8)

That's funny. I thought that the first time I saw it, too. But then again all the short-scale fender look kind of funny to me. Especially the ones with the CBS headstocks. My opinion on that particular travesty of guitar aesthetics may have been mentioned on this thread.....

1) stupid graphics and signature series guitars with artists' names/logos on the headstock

1) pointy guitars

2) bright colors

3) artificially distressed guitars

Some of you might hate me for saying this, but I can't stand the Road Worn series Strats or Teles. I'm sure they play and sound great, but why buy something that's been made to look beat up already? It's like you didn't earn it, you know? blah
