Doug Fieger, lead singer for the power pop band The Knack, who co-wrote and sang the massive No. 1 hit My Sharona, died yesterday at the age of 57 after a battle with cancer.

Wow this is really a bad period as so many players are passing. Kiss fan I agree and can remember the day I bought the 45 of Good Girls Dont. Then I bought the album and cracked up to the real lyrics which included As she's sitting on your face instead of the 45s till she puts you in your place. My Sharona also has a great end lead on the album that is quite surprising. What a bummer/ R.I.P Doug
