+1 :D

I'm sorry to hear about your loss Bowlfreshener.
I've lost friends this way as well. I couldn't have made your point better.

I voted for suicide. He was mentally unstable and a junkie and with his behavioral patterns it was just a matter of time. To get a better idea of this read Heavier Than Heaven by Charles Cross.

As I said before, its been 16 years, get over it.

Yes, anytime anyone commits suicide its tragic, not for the person who killed themself, but for everyone else who actually knew them personally.

On February 1 of this year, a friend of mine committed suicide. While I felt bad for the victim, I feel worse for his family, parents, friends, and relatives who have all been, and will continue to be, affected permanently. When I was younger, I thought Kurt just couldn't handle the pressure of being a rock star, and it just got to be too much. Now I feel that maybe Kurt did the right thing to himself, because if he couldn't handle being a celebrity and/or rock star in the early 90s, his wimpy *ss sure as hell would not be able to cope with this age of TMZ, twitter, and the internet as it exists today.

Now as I have said before, I am a Nirvana fan, but this recent suicide of my friend has me re-thinking Kurt's situation. As an adult coping with the suicide of a friend, I totally lost respect for Kurt, a father, leaving the burden of coping with a parent's suicide on a young child.

You don't want to be a rock star anymore, just quit being a rock star. No one had a gun to your head and said,"You must continue being a rock star.", you put the gun to your own head Kurt...

If you thought you were f*cked up Kurt, you f*cked up your daughter even more...

I like your music, but have totally lost respect for a person who willfully leaves that type of burden on their own child.

courtney...... she A) only wanted fame and money and B) was going to file for a divorce if he didnt take the lollapalooza gig...... im kind of neutral between suicide and murder...... theres a lot of evidence to support both..... yes, he was depressed, but i dont think the drugs would have pushed him over the edge, or if they had it would have happened a lot earlier as he had been doing MANY kinds of drugs for years and there are even accounts of him taking very high doses of psycadelic (sp?) drugs....

Dude, I really don't care if a freaking Terminator came from the future and killed him, or if he killed himself...

Murdered or suicide, who cares? He's not coming back either way.

You weren't there, if you were you should have stopped it, or perhaps you're the one that murdered Kurt.

Unless you've unearthed some new evidence thats been hidden for 16 years, and not just some new conspiracy theory, just let it go.

As I said before...

If you're above the age of 20, you should be over Kurt's suicide or murder, who gives a crap, either way he's dead now...

If you're under the age of 20 (unless your name is France Bean Cobain), realize that those of us who were alive on the day when this happened have since moved on, and quit acting like this just happened yesterday

And as I have also said before, its been 16 years, get over it, AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, JUST LET THE MAN REST IN PEACE AND PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT IT ALREADY!

Yer, what bowlfreshener said....Just let him R.I.P, and let his music live on. I know some of us are still wondering how he paseed away, but itll just be one of those unsolved mysteries forever....
