Do you think he commit suicide or was murdered? i think murder because 1) a dead man cant wipe fingerprints off a shotgun, especially with 3 times the lethal dose of heroin in his system 2) some guy admitted Courtney tried to hire him.... this man was found dead 3 days later 3) if he fell from shooting himself, why was the shotgun laying on his chest?

the leaked autopsy showed that the heroin was overly pure.... meaning, it WOULD have been normal dose, but it was VERY pure junk, causing a massive OD

I say suicide. No one forced him to take use that Heroin. He did that on his own.

Being married to Courtney Love would make anyone want to commit suicide.
Seriously though, I remember when that was going on didnt he have a near fatal overdose a year or so before he shot himself? It sucks that drugs have taken so many people that had a lot more to offer. Bradley Knowles from Sublime too. Makes you wonder about how much more they would have put out there if they were still around

Just another dead junkie. No matter whether you were a fan or not there's no escaping the fact that he was a chronically depressed heroin addict.

it is by no means very unusual for either chronically depressed people to commit suicide, nor is it uncommon for junkies to do the same.

all the evidence for a murder plot comes from one guy Tom grant a former cop turned private investigator. none of his evidence seems conclusive. he also claims to have evidence, but won't share it?!? isn't that obstruction of justice, i would suggest if it actually existed he would himself be in a heap of trouble. keep in mind he works the celebrity circuit, all the way back to the paula jones sexual harassment case, against bill Clinton.

grant makes numerous paid appearances discussing this case. he has never convinced anyone in law enforcement that this evidence is strong enough to reopen the case. this to me is telling. i would suggest that a prosecutor would probably benefit greatly if they managed to prosecute and get a conviction in this case. it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a name. yet no one will go there.

I know we would like to hold on to illusions about people we admire, but fans need to face up, Cobain was mentally ill (chronic depression,) he was also a junkie. there is nothing more to his death than that.

1 they never found clear prints, that is a far cry from saying there were none. they just didn't have any clear enough to match.1 b) lethal dose can vary from addict to addict, depending on how much they use, and how high their tolerence, in fact in this case specifically :In a 2004 story, Dateline NBC questioned five medical examiners about the figure from the toxicology report. Two of them noted the possibility that Cobain could have built up enough of a tolerance through repeated usage to have been able to pull the trigger himself, while the three others held that the information was inconclusive.
2) is El Duce leader of the 'rape rock' 9their phrase not mine,) band the mentors. anyone familiar with them and him will cast doubt into any kind of reliability, hardly like getting the gospel truth there. he died after being hit by a train while drunk. again another dead worthless person, i wouldn't trust his word if he said the sky was blue.
3) is nonsense.

My main memory of Nirvana is when the bass player threw his bass up in the air at the end of the song and it came back down and cracked him in the head. You cant make that $@!& up

Hey I remember him. I met him a few times in the eighties when he was helping Doug Moody do studio work at Mystic Studios in Hollywood. El Duce was the drummer/singer of the Mentors. I wouldnt call him worthless but he was without a doubt one of the craziest people in the Hollywood punk scene at the time. And there was a lot of crazy out of their mind people. I never knew he was involved with this story though, thats really weird.

I was not a fan of Kurt Cobain, I do think he was talented and had potential. I like "Nirvana: Unplugged".

No matter what anybody thinks his death was a waste and nothing will change the fact that he is dead.

Sorry if I seem cynical but he was a waste...Oh my crappy life I am a millionaire and no one understands me...etc etc. He had alot of talent and pissed it away...no loss of tears here...I have seen far better men killed serving this country to waste any tears on that guy.

If anyone thinks Courtney Love had him murdered just think about it hard for a second. There have been some really intelligent people who have tried to commit the perfect murder only to fail. Here you have a blabbering addict who can never shut up or stand up half the time and you would believe she got away with murder. She would of said something to someone within a half hour.As for the ex cop, there are a ton of people out there who try to make a buck off of others misfortune.

Some people think it was her and some record company execs because he pulled out of Lollapalooza, causing them to lose almost 9 million dollars
