i do a little bit of singing (although i'm the only person who's heard me. i'm really shy when comes to singing.) i don't really like my voice because it's a little too high for my taste and i'm limited to softer stuff which i don't mind too much but i prefer rock especially singing wise.

i just thought it'd be interesting to see if there were any singers and what they sang.

That's where I started before I picked up a guitar.

Just open your mouth and let what comes out come out. Sounding genuine sounds better than trying to be cool, every time.

I guess you could call what I did in my main band singing. It's punk rock though so most people wouldn't.

There are songs here, me singing, playing guitar, and I also wrote them:

i can actualy do both really well as long as i can play the song very well or if it's an easy/ chord song. i remember just a few weeks ago i couldn't even sing with chords but then all of a sudden i just could. it was really weird that it happened like that but its a very good thing! i'm not complaining  :D

I'm 17 and I've singing since I was four. I used to sing mostly pop or gospel, but then I started looking at the guitar, and liking how it could sing for you...I love singing rock music, but most of all, I LOVE to sing the blues. You can do whatever you want with that style of music, both on the guitar and with your voice. The two just seem to meld together in the most perfect way when you play the blues. Buddy was the best example of this, I think.

For the most part, no I don't sing. I will cover 'LaGrange' by ZZ Top or an occaisional John Cougar Mellencamp tune or maybe Tom Petty, though.

I sing at home, in the car and only once in public. When I realized people were listening I stopped. My husband's voice is so loud and off key it's really tough to sing over him. I think he swallowed a mic when he was little. :? It's funny he sings the high notes and I sing the low ones. I never sing while playing guitar.
Sincerely,
Anothershysinger

I've got the voice of a game show announcer...deep and resonant. Makes for a lousy singing voice. So I cheat and got a TC Helicon Voiceworks vocal processor. Automatic pitch correction!!
