What if Hendrix played a tuba? Or if Stevie Ray Vaughan played a fiddle or VanHalen a harmonica? Just somethin to think about.

I always think the other around. What if Haydn could get his hands on a Stratocaster? Or imagine Franz Liszt playing a modern electronic keyboard. 8)

okay here's another one, but it's a big "what-if". what if Mozart was alive in the 70's and played a Strat?

What if Rick Wakeman had been alive in the eighteenth century and all he had to play was a harpsichord?

...I guess it wouldn't make much difference!

Cheers - C

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

A few years ago my brother (Redmax61 here on the Forum) and I went down to Corona, CA and spent the day visiting with my friend Bill Lawrence ( www.billlawrence.com ). During the day we were sitting in Bill's office and he was playing his guitar while explaining pickup stuff. He played some Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and a few others.
If any of those classical musicians would have played a Strat it would have been a fabulous thing!!!!!!

I'd dance the polka a lot more than I do now.

The hokie, pokie is what it's all about.

oh, and playing guitar.

What if cheese burgers were made out of Styrofoam…..then nobody would eat them.

What if Hendrix played the tuba? Then he would have experienced little to no popularity at all….he was right place at right time with the right combination for it all to work….(after all how many John Phillips Sousa concerts shirts have you ever seen?) :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Really?

And what if the hokie pokie really was what it's all about? But….. after you shook your left foot all about; you could not pull it out?

If this were all true, i'd probably be playing a tuba, a fiddle, and a harmonica :D (i actually do have a harmonica though.) and i would be very interested in knowing what fiddle played by SRV would sound like.

That would be a bit wierd, but I guess its up to them what instrument they played, and they chose guitar.
