A few years ago my brother (Redmax61 here on the Forum) and I went down to Corona, CA and spent the day visiting with my friend Bill Lawrence ( www.billlawrence.com ). During the day we were sitting in Bill's office and he was playing his guitar while explaining pickup stuff. He played some Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and a few others.
If any of those classical musicians would have played a Strat it would have been a fabulous thing!!!!!!

If this were all true, i'd probably be playing a tuba, a fiddle, and a harmonica (i actually do have a harmonica though.) and i would be very interested in knowing what fiddle played by SRV would sound like.
