Can anyone tell me why its so hard to find a V profile bass neck??? I read Fender used them around '57 and first used a soft V before going to a hard V on the original Gold Guard P-basses and then went to the C for '58. I'd Love to get a P bass with the hard V profile. Why didn't the Reissue '57 P bass have a hard V like the originals??????? Anyone know where I can buy a hard V bass neck???
