New Sammy Hagar signature --
In classic Les Paul style, the guitar carries a pair of Gibson’s most popular PAF-style “zebra coil” humbucking pickups—a ’57 Classic in the neck and a hotter BurstBucker 3 in the bridge—along with the legendary pairing of Tune-o-matic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece, and the traditional Les Paul neck and body configurations that have made this instrument unparalleled in tone and playability for more than 50 years. To kick the look up into overdrive, the Sammy Hagar Red Rocker Les Paul wears a highly figured, bookmatched two-piece Grade AA maple top with luscious Cabernet finish on a weight-relieved mahogany body, and a white Hagar-certified “Chickenfoot” logo on the headstock face, with Red Rocker “R” on the truss-rod cover. Add it all up, and it’s one of the sultriest blends of classic tonal appointments and radical new styling that Gibson has ever produced—in short, a guitar that will definitely get you noticed. Each Sammy Hagar Red Rocker Les Paul comes with a plush-lined Gibson hardshell case.

Nice but wrong forum. It doesn't really say Sammy but that's just me. Sammy's guitars are like muscle cars and this guitar is too pretty and delicate for him.

I like it, particularly the squared off CND emblem on the headstock.

How much for this one, $45K?

I honestly can't see it being a best seller as I doubt any serious guitarist would buy a signature guitar of his, especially at whatever ridiculous price Gibson will try and sell it for. Further, that childish graffiti on the headstock is not only embarrassing, but outright contradicts the 'ambience' of the body. I guess they forgot about Joe Perry's, "Bone Yard". Of course, in the final analysis, there's no accounting for taste.

As always, this is merely IMO where YMMV.

Nice finish, but I'd never buy anything with Sammy's name associated with it! Hell, I wont even listen to Chickenfoot on the radio and its free!

If they ditched the Chickenfoot logo and half of the price it would be a nice guitar.

I am sooo sick of seeing peace signs on everything. Its become a part of fashion and lost what it actually meant.

I like the top and the color though

So just how much is Gibson asking for this guitar? My guess would be at least 6 grand and it wouldn't surprise me if it were twice that Knowing Gibson's outrageous pricing practices in the past,The guitar looks great but above the nut it's grotesque.

I like Gibson guitars, I dont think there is anything wrong with them and they are as welcome on the forum as any other brand.

The thing I have noticed is that the custom shop and signature line are getting way too pricey.

For example, the new Angus Young SG Standard Sig Customshop has been released and has a suggested retail of $9,409 USD.
The funny thing is, he doesnt play his signature line and he never has. All it was is basically a '61 re-issue with an ebony board, lightning bolt inlays and SD Pearly Gates pickups. Yes, the pickups arent even custom on a $9K custom axe.

Ya it's like all those guitars that people buy that have someone else s initials on the front (SRV) what a joke  That said I do like that LP
