I know folks in the snow belts are used to this stuff. I have even toured up north around Buffalo, N.Y. with the lake effect snow during the winter. They a consistent amount of snowfall as opposed to a massive dump that always being dealt with, so the gigs went on...yea! Even here in the east, we do get snow, just not two/three feet at one time. In large cities such as Baltimore & Washington, D.C., the problem of removal becomes one of the biggest problems. You just can't plow it from most of the inner city roads, you need to actually remove it via a backhoe or some other industrial vehicle.

I just arrived home after some gigs down south to deal with Blizzard #1, now the I am dealing with Blizzard #2, less then one week apart:!: Oh well, I just hope I can gig this Thursday evening in Baltimore. But much more important, I hope the cities and counties can clear the way for first respondersASAP.

Same deal here in South Jersey near Phila. I've lost count of how many times I've had to shovel out my driveway only to have it snow covered again. To make it even more fun the plow trucks keep plowing me in. At least between bouts I can come in and play with my toys. Hopefully this will be it for awhile. Stay safe everyone.

Damn, I feel for you guys. I was caught in the storm that hit Seattle last year just before Christmas and me and my friends didn't think that we'd make it home for the holidays. Luckily we did after spending the last day of our trip at the airport on standby instead of looking at the Experience Hendrix museum and some guitar shops I had scoped out online. Just try and be safe, I wish you all the best.
