I just bought it the other day. I haven't gotten to really listen to it yet, just kind of background noise ya know. Typical of his solo stuff IMO. Won't win any new fans or lose old ones. To me all his songs sound the same but I dig his sound so its all good to me.

I agree you can tells its johns style, i think the album is really cool. Looking forward to johns new solo album this year too :)

If you like Zombie, there's no reason not to like this one, and if you don't like Zombie, this won't change your opinion. However, it is a fine, well produced example of Zombie's post White Zombie style, and John 5's influence is definitely evident.

I found the last two tracks to be especially interesting. I like them both a lot actually.

How is John5s playing on the album? Any note worthy riffs or solos or did Zombie keep him from cuttin loose.

Theres some tremlo picking in there and finger tapping and stuff, but not to the point of it just being that but its there to compliment the song which he executes well in every song. Wouldnt say it was so much zombie stopping him from cutting loose but more of them being smart in where to and not to add some flare. Buy it and see what you think. 8)
