Since Dec19 we have had 26'+6'+2'+6' then 32' over the weekend and now they are saying up to 20' more come Wednesday and a ? over the up coming weekend. This is Maryland what the heck, they need it for the Olympics not here!!!!
I have dug out three cars at no less the 3 hours each and the forth might wait.
The mounds on the lawns are 6 and 7 feet tall already. One lane down every road in the community.

It snowed here last December, and last year it also snowed. It's the first time Houston's ever gotten snow two years back to back.

CV, I am not making light of the snow in your area as I was in Chi for the big ones in '67 and '79, no snow blower for either, but I would like to have a chat with the global warming group right about now.

I can go out in my yard and walk around on the grass. Dead of course. But a little strange for Vermont. It has been pretty cold the past couple of weeks so the ski areas have been making a lot of snow.

I can remember one winter back in the mid-'70's when we had a sum and total of about 6" of snow all winter. That was the year I bought my first snow mobile. Go figure... :?

Weather, or should I say "climate", patterns are not as predictable as the scientists would have you believe.

There is no snow here on the south west corner of Iceland, this is the snow lightest winter I remember. And it is Þorri the coldest part of the year.

it has snowed 2 times here so far this year, and both of those days I was on the road or running errands around the city, so I couldn't really enjoy it!

And here we are at that 6FT. point already and another biggy on the way. We don't see it in Maryland like this. And getting a possible 20" more on top of the 32 we just got 3 days ago  some areas saw 38" over the weekend  Maybe I am now in Bazarro World Maryland and your Bazarro Vermont.

Yeah, I did jinx myself (referring to an earlier post). Last Fri/Sat, we got hammered with 20 inches. It was the 4th biggest snowfall in Pittsburgh's history. Consider that our total snow fall had been on 12 or so inched up to that point. We lost power for the bulk of Saturday, and on Sunday only for a few minutes but it was during The Who's performance at the SB (I was so pissed). And my drive way is still a mess.

Buckle up. Here it comes again ...

South Central WI? Another member in this area? You must not be to far from me than, here in the Rapids area we got a dusting yesterday and than nothing.

I drove to Waupaca for practice last night too, once I got to Plover the snow stopped and clear sailing, stopped altogether by the time I came home.
