Before I got my secret weapon, a Squire Classic Vibe Jazz Bass, I started out on a Squire Bronco Bass. I don't play it as much but I still love it's tone.

Basses I do want (I'm a greedy bastard, lol):

Squier Modified Fretless Jazz Bass
Fender Custom Shop Jaco Pastorius Fretless Jazz Bass
Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass
Fender 1970s Jazz bass
Fender 1950s Roadworn Precision Bass (Fiesta Red)
Warwick JE Buzzard Bass
Warwick Adam Clayton Reverso Bass
Warwick Jack Bruce Thumb Bass
Rickenbacker 4003 Bass
Wal Mach II Bass
Epiphone EB-3 Bass
Steinberger Headless Spirit Bass
Yamaha Billy Sheehan Attitude Bass

I really want a Fender Stu Hamm

Realistically I like the PJ models. Jazz Neck, Precision Body, and a Pickup from each.

I'd also take a Gibson Ripper, Honer Viola, Yamaha BB 414, Nathan East, or Billy Sheehan, Epiphone Woody Allen, Fender MB4 or 5, or a Warwick.

Here's my baby girl, Fender FSR Standard Jazz Bass:

...and here with her sisters:

Note: The colors are a bit washed out.
That's due to my camera, not the axes.
They are much more vibrant in person, like me!

Lifelong guitarist who recently got into playing the bass after jammin' with a friend's Japacrappy model. Just couldn't get it out of my system, so I made the leap to get my own...though it had to be a Fender, of course. Guitar is still my main axe but, it's great to be able to play both not to mention a real work out for the fingers.

I dream of getting a Rickenbacker 4003, and those 3 Warwicks I mentioned above. But what will really make my life is an exact replica of John Entwistle's Alembic Exploiter. I saw a guy on the internet who actually got one built and it got me thinking. But Alembics are hideously expensive, I bet that bass is well over $15000. The JPJ Rhapsody In Blue Alembic is also a beauty, but again, expensive.

I'm not really GASSING for any basses at the moment. Perhaps a fender high way one p bass or jazz bass.

My basses are in my signature! Love um both! I would like a new silver pearloid p guard and some new pups for the squier...

I have one a 1992 Fender Precision Candy Apple Red Rosewood Fretboard with a Badass II Bridge and Fender Silver Lace Sensor pickup in it. I'll post a pick when I take one of it in a few days.
