I know there's a topic goin' i just wanted to see if anyone else wanted to voice their opinions on the performance

I thought it was a great show. A little off at the start, but once they got going it was good. Not to mention that it was live, not lip synched, and it was just the band, not a bunch of people prancing all around the football field like a high school football halftime show.

I thought they did a hell of a job and totally enjoyed them. I think there was a bit of follow the leader going on, as a lot of guys were repeating what was already written. To say they sucked or were horrible is ridicules. I could see if someone did not care for there spot but no way were they terrible.

+1

I dare anyone who says otherwise to go play a Super Bowl halftime show and do better.

I thought they did great, just some musicians playing live, no extra 1,000 cheerleaders on the field or back up tapes. There seemed to be a hiccup or two at the start but once they hit their stride it came together well.

I liked them, as I did Springsteen, Stones, etc. The best part about the "Janet boob" fiaso is getting some classic rock into that spot.

As anyone who ever listened to even one Who tune over the last several decades would know, the Who have always been a solid example of excellent classic rock. There is no doubt, that last night, even after all these years, and with only two of the original members left, they got it done! I was thoroughly entertained, even sang along some! Who's next?!- pun intended.

I'm just glad that they didn't have some "live" audience on the field that suddenly busted out in some "spontaneous" simultaneous flash mob-choreographed dance number with streamers, props, and signs....other than that, my opinions are voiced on the "Who...Horrible" thread...

I've always like The Who, but I thought their vocals were off during the Super Bowl performance.
