Been listening on and off on the AM radio. The 2-point conversion was the momentum boost...the interception, the game-changer. Generally not that excited about the Super Bowl but good game.

Manning went down to Florida. He was lookin' for a bowl to steal. He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind, and he was willin' to make a deal, when he came across this young man tossin' a ball and thowin' it hot. And the devil jumped up behind his O-Line and said, "Boy, let me tell you what. I guess you didn't know it but I'm a football player, too. And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you. Now, you toss a pretty good ball, boy, but give the devil his due. I'll bet a Superbowl against your soul, 'cause I think I'm better than you." The boy said, "My name's Brees, and it might be a sin. But I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret, 'cause I'm the best that's ever been."

Brees, warm up your throw and toss that football hard, 'cause hell's broke loose in Florida and the devil deals the cards. And if you win you get this shiny Superbowl. But if you lose, Manning gets your bowl!

Manning opened up the game and he said, "I'll start this show." And fire flew from his fingertips as he showed the fans his throw. And he tossed that ball across the field and it made an evil hiss. Then a band of runningbacks joined in and it sounded somethin' like this: When Manning finished, Brees said, "Well, you're pretty good, old son, but sit down in that chair right there and let me show you how it's done.

Fire on the field. Run, Thomas, run. Manning's in the House of the Rising Sun. Shockey, will you let the Colts win? No, child, no.

Manning bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat. And he laid that Superbowl on the ground at Brees' feet. Brees said, "Manning, just come on back if you ever want to try again. 'Cause I told you once, you son of a gun, I'm the best that's ever been."

Not mine but funny anyway

I would have liked to have seen the Colts win, but its cool the Saints won after decades of losing seasons, losing an NBA franchise, and the Katrina stuff, that city deserves it...

They played a hell of a game, and seeing the look on Manning's face when he knew it was over, was priceless!

I loved that look too. Reminded me of my 8 year old son.

I was very glad to see the saints win that game. I was down there, living at one of the few motels able to be open at the time, provided by the glaziers union local. i was working out of the crasto glass companies shop about 5 blocks from the superdome at that time. This was a few months post katrina, and that entire area, as far as one could drive in any direction for many miles was indescribably destroyed. I have never seen such devastation anywhere like that in my life. Entire mansion sized homes left in the middle of an intersection, still on their foundations. furniture and picnic tables on roofs of homes, everywhere, cars piled up like at a junk yard. refrigerators, screen doors, and tires in trees. many homes totally obliterated, with only the slab left to show that there was ever a structure present at all. I'll never forget what i saw, no never, and i yeah, trust me, those hard working souls in louisiana who lost it all, even their wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters! Yes, they ought to have something to feel good about. it's far from even beginning to be finished cleaning up and rebuilding down there where many entire counties in three states were utterly destroyed. but like the true blue americans they are, they are never going to give up till they get her done! we have a heck of a lot of volunteers still hard at work down there, from all over these United States, and i for one, salute them. God bless America!

Cajun who died went to *ell.
The devil assigned him the usual punishment...put him in the mass pit where the heat was melting others.
The devil came back sometime later surprised to find the Cajun just sitting around, not even misting, much less sweating. "How come you're not so much as sweating here where everyone else is screaming for relief from the heat?"
The Cajun laughed and said, "Man, I was raised in the bayous of Sout Looziana. Dis ain't nothin' but May in Morgan City to me!"
The devil decided to really put the Cajun through it. He put him in a sealed off cave in the pit with open blazes and four extra furnaces blasting.
When he came back, days later, the Cajun was sitting pretty, had barely begun to bead up with sweat. The devil was outraged.
"How is this possible!? You should be melted to a shrieking puddle in these conditions!."
The Cajun laughed even harder than before. "Hey, man! I done tole you. I was raised in Sout Looziana. You tink dis is heat?! Dis ain't nothin' but August in Cow Island !"
So the devil thought, 'Alright, a little reverse ought to do the trick.' He put the Cajun into a corner of hell where no heat ever reached. It was freezing and to add to the Cajun's misery, he added massive icebergs and blasting frozen air.
When he returned, the Cajun was shivering, ice hung from every part of him but he was grinning like it was Christmas.
Exasperated, the devil asked "HOW!? How is it possible?! You're impervious to heat and here you sit in conditions you can't be used to...freezing cold and yet you're happier than if you were in heaven. WHY?!"
The Cajun kept grinning and asked, "Don't dis mean de Saints won da Super Bowl?"
