Just saw The Who, actually 1/2 The Who. Really bad or is it just me. Out of tune, out of touch.

A little shakey at the beginning but I thought they got better as the show progressed. At least they didn't try to fake it.

I agree 100%. Both Daltrey and Townsend seemed to be off, though Starkey and Paladino held it together

I agree here, not great at the start, but better as it went on. Not up to par with the last couple years though.

When compared to the Who of yesteryear, there is no comparison. But they weren't there to trying to be their old selves, rather just themselves old, which still is a good show. Nothing to brag about for many years to come, but I'd rather see that show than some Lady Gaga Black Eyed Peas Taylor Swift BS.

I'm with Capo.

The rest of y'all can dig on Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake if you want, but I dug it. Cool stage too.

Guys, remember that these guys are approaching 70. Can any of you picture yourselves rocking like that at that age? I just hope to make it to that age.

I agree with Capo. Way better than that pathetic little Gaga thing or BEP or Taylor Swift (even though I think she's great). Not on par however with Springsteen's performance which I thought was by far... BY FAR... the best I've ever seen. Pete definitely should have kept his mouth shut and just played. They still rock though, don't they. :D

We all get old, and nobody get's out alive. Give credit where credit is due. I'll bet all that "OMG" Fender equipment was donated. You can bet Pete didn't have to pay for it. When you are in your late sixtys, hide and see what Fender (or anyone else) gives you. :P

It's difficult for me to be critical of guys that have gone the distance... I for one respect that they are still together, and still making music. It did look like they were having fun, and isn't that what it's all about?

I enjoyed the show a lot. My wife was saying "The singing could be better!" I said to her, "These guys are in their sixties! I think they're doing pretty good considering!"

Pete and Roger were both putting a good bit of energy into the performance if you ask me.

I noticed all the amps were mic'd. What do you suppose was that extra little knob at the bottom of the bridge on Pete's Strat?

That little knob is for a Piezo Bridge pickup.
