Joe I see you know your stuff. It has a taper from the factory on this model inside the magwell and the trigger is right at 3.5. I do use it as a carry piece on occasion and I dont feel safe going less then 3.5. Most days the weight is too much to carry comfortably so I go with a glock 36. Not as accurate but easier to conceal when it gets hot. I can tell you though, this thing is a tack driver.

Nice rig. I carry full size too. A Para-ordnance P14-45 or my 92FS. Haven't really tried any competitions since my Army days though. Maybe I'll try one of those cowboy action contests some day. Those look like a lot of fun.

Ive never tried the cowboy action. Ive watched it though and man some of those guys are really good. I live about a mile from an outdoor range that holds all kinds of events. One of the most fun is the 3 gun events where you use a side arm, carbine (usually an AR15) and shotgun. You have to move through obstacles while engaging different moving targets and alternating between the three weapons. It is a lot of fun and you meet some really nice people. They have 3 gun in Vegas and a lot of the Vegas competitors come here for the Southwest regional matches. If you ever come out to Phoenix look me up and we can do some shooting.

Sounds good. We have a huge new park opening here for events like that too. I'll have to look into three gun also.

Guns, guitars, industrial citys giant concrete and steel citys influence the musical minds of the people who live there from the moment their Mom and Dad carry them out of the hospital doors the sounds (gun fire included) of that city begin their sonic influence until those people are old enough to create their own sounds or music or songs, and some times they sound like this

You may not believe in them but they do exist and the world is full of them.
I was in Los Angeles and saw first hand how fast the criminals begin brandishing their guns and the police were nowhere in sight. For about four days people robbed burned shooted and looted and the police ran away until the national guard arrived. In New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina the police joined the looters, there is even videos of them stealing from WalMart in full uniform. Point is, when society breaks down (which happens very very fast) you are on your own and the gangs and other criminals all have lots of guns.

I enjoy shooting in the proper safe environment and there are legitimate shooting sports even in the olympics. Ive been raised around it so it isnst something Im scared of but it isnt for everyone. To each his own

I am a very peaceful person and very much anti violence but I do enjoy getting out and shooting paper at 4 or 500 meters.

There is no such thing as someone who does not believe in guns. At the first sign of trouble, they will call someone with a gun to come bail them out.

Remember, when seconds count... the police will be there in a few minutes! 8)

You guys just didn't get it. ......Let me put it this way. I was KIDDING. I do not hunt. I do not shoot for sport. Tho, I'm not violent by nature, I can be by necessity. And, threatened, I will not shoot to wound. Threaten me or my family with violence and you're gonna meet Jesus. :!: :!: [/i]

One of my other Hobbies is fixing and collecting military style firearms.
I have videos of me shooting a lot of my favorite rifles and subguns on youtube. Most of the full auto stuff belong to friends.
The Mac 10 and AK is mine.
I love going out into the desert and letting the lead fly with my friends its a lot fun. Im also into long range target shooting. Never been a hunter though. I am too much of an animal lover. Id probably cry like a $@!&* if I shoot a deer or something. Not against it for other people though, a lot of my friend are big time hunters I just cant bring myself to do it.
If your into that sort of thing there is some videos of me at the range and out in the desert. Here in Arizona like in most states, full auto stuff is legal as long as you file the properly approved paperwork with the ATF and pay 200.00 tax on each silencer, machine gun etc.

Do a search for "turrican12" for my machine guns and silencer videos.
There are thousands of full auto's out there but there are only a few thousand class III gun licensed people in the US. I have been to places and paid to shoot them and I do know two owners personally. You are actually licensing the serial number of the weapon with BATF
Shooting something that puts 500+ down range at a cost of $1.10 per round

Actually there is no such thing as a class III license. It is a 200.00 tax stamp per class III (or NFA) weapon. The stamp actually looks like a stamp too. You submit fingerprints and a photo and you of course have to have a squeaky clean record and you get your stamp and pick up the gun from the seller that is transferring it to you. Machine guns have to be made prior to 1986 to be transferred to civilians which is why they get more expensive every year. silencers and short barrel rifles and shotguns can be new. Still the same background checks apply. This is if you live in a free state of course, Illinois, California, Mass. and New York etc need not apply.

1986 is when they stopped the registration of transferable full auto and many states require a C&R license as well that covers you M16's and Thompson and such. Most full auto other then MAC10's cost between 10 to 15 thousand that are transferable even a MAC can cost you 3,200. just because the NFA34 set it at 200. is a joke to think any one just get one on the cheap. I will possibly soon be setting out to reactivate a wartime trophy.
