You'll find several like minded individuals on here Turrican. I have quite the collection myself. Everything from 9mm to 50 cal including a full auto AR15. No silencers, yet, but I've thought about it.

I have two guns. A Remington 870 12 gauge. and a 17 mm HMR KZ hunting riffle.

There are very strict gunlaws here in Iceland and I am just fine with that. Gun related crimes are almost nonexisting here and the Icelandic SWAT teams pride them self on the fact that they have never had to use their firearms. 8)

If you ever had a chance to train and compete in one of our matches you might feel different. We have a lot of tournaments around here and it is very exciting and fun.
Have you ever actually gone shooting or do you just hate them without trying?

No sir that is a Colt 1911 and it has Novak night sights. The Glock has trijicons. I did all the work on the colt myself.

Before

After polishing and beat blasting the frame, trigger job, cutting in and fitting beavertail grip safety, and a trigger job and adding some KZ grips here it is now

I did all the work myself and it came out sweet. This is my competition pistol. I use it for steel tournaments usually.[/img]

Joe I see you know your stuff. It has a taper from the factory on this model inside the magwell and the trigger is right at 3.5. I do use it as a carry piece on occasion and I dont feel safe going less then 3.5. Most days the weight is too much to carry comfortably so I go with a glock 36. Not as accurate but easier to conceal when it gets hot. I can tell you though, this thing is a tack driver.
