I play a Fender Toronado GT HH, and I have a VOX VT50 amp, and it's a great set up, and I can get most of the sounds I want out of it, but I can't get the punk sound I want without it buzzing or giving me lots of feedback, so does anyone have some pedals they suggest I try using?

Something kind of like My Chem's I Brought You My Bullets album Green Day's American Idiot album.

Something like this...

Dont use too much gain. Opt for amp drive, particularly a mesa cascaded drive. Keep the mids up.

Thats punk? :?

I agree, I have a VT 30 watt......fiddle with your gain until you like it....turn your master up and adjust with your volume control. Hope this helps.... a really gained amp has to be tamed, unless you want the Jimi effect
