Went in to buy a few sets of strings for my electrics and acoustics.
Came out with the strings and a DigiTech RP-155. Not exactly sure why.

My excuse to myself was that I won't have to pull out and setup the entire pedal board just to fool around.
Did not know it had a drum machine and looper built in, bit of a bonus :)

Haha, good for you!!

I have the RP 335, and I have to say....it's pretty freakin' awesome. :P I love how many presets it has, and how you can configure it to your likings.

Have fun with your new toy!! :D

That's happened to me many times over the years,it started with a trip looking for strings in 76 and I walked out with a 66 Gretsch Tennessean, the most recent one was last August another string purchase and ended up paying down on an Epi Firebird.I don't think this will ever be cured.

I love that. I sometimes leave my wallet in the car when I go to look around. I figure that in the time it would take me to go and get it that I would consider if I really want the impulse buy. It's almost more fun to come home with something on a whim than to plan it though. It's like the great party that happens when you and a buddy decide to just hang out and the next day you're wondering where the other 20 people came from and why you're waking up under the coffee table.

Thanks for reminding me Beaubs,I"accidently"bought my younger daughter a bass guitar while browsing through Steve's Music on a trip to Ottawa, when she picked me up at the airport she saw the 2 guitar cases(I accidently bought a Strat)she said"What did you buy yourself 2 guitars?"I said"No the bass is yours."she nearly soiled herself.

i did the same thing a year and a half ago. went in just to try some pedals, and came home with the digitech rp 350.

when i first started to play around with it, i was intimidated. then i hooked it up to the computer, and everything fell into place. i'm lovin' it now!

I do not know how many times I have gone into a Guitar shop for strings or something else smaller and ended up spending a couple hundred bucks. Now I have to take my wife with me as to not buy something big. That is why I buy strings on line now.
