If you had a chance to have any one guitar back that you've sold, traded or otherwise gotten rid of, which one would it be? Mine would be a 1998(?)Guild D-25. It was the first really nice guitar I had and I sold it to get money for a Martin D-16RGT. I love the Martin but kind of miss the Guild. How about you all? Surely there has to be at least one guitar you would like back.

Great thread!

Can I put 3 guitars here?

2. My 1979 Antigua strat :( Sold it for £180 in 1985.
3. My first strat. A 1976 Cimar strat copy. :(

Played a G&L S500 2 weeks ago. I was expecting a good guitar but this thing was stunning. It far exceeded my expectations. Had treble and bass controls and one of the best trems I've ever seen on anything.

The one I wish I could get back? My 2nd guitar, a 81 Tokai Breezysound.

In 73 I had a Pan MIJ copy of a Ventures Moserite and traded it in on a Hagstrom II that was a great sounding guitar but the intonation was way off and I didn't know about these kinds of thins at the time and figured it was faulty.

One of the dumbest things I ever did in my life was sell that guitar. It was dead mint, I bought it at an auction sale. Guy played slide guitar with it a few times and put it under the bed. Frets were basically never used. Only thing wrong with it was a little finish checking, which is to be expected after 62 years.

Went to a collector in Japan. Made lots of money on it.

Would give anything to have it back...

i hope you know how badly i want to kill you now..... why on earth would you ever do that EVER?!?!
