no, please put that fool down.... hands down THE most overrated poser ever.....

i see myself as a horrible guitarist () but make the most of it..... think cobain style, as in take the less than skillful playing and just make it a different style

Woah, there!! I know The Edge uses effects that completely mask any "sound" that he may have, but he's definitely not all THAT bad as you might make him out to be. Well, that's my opinion, at least. :P

Please!! I'm sure you're way better than you think you are! :D

I just have to say dude that whatever you may think of school right now it is better to suffer now and reap the rewards later as my dad used to say. You're there anyways so you might as well do it. Also you may not have any post secondary ideas right now but if you want to go back later on then you have to start upgrading and it just throws extra road blocks in your way. I was in your spot once and it's not fun but just attack it like you do with the guitar and it will all be over soon.

Well at my best good enough to play just about anything I wanted to play within in my style which is classic rock blues based music. I find the best way for those who are having trouble playing lead is to get as many backing tracks as you can and to basically just jam constantly over them. Start by coming up with a simple theme or melody and build on it as if you were writing an instrumental and then pull out your favorite licks and see what works. This really took my playing to another level. Also try and learn to play with diatonic scales as once you know and can mix say E natural minor with the E pentatonic scale you will be able to jam endlessly without sounding repetitive. Also take it out of your comfort zone and learn to play in keys you are not familiar with. Then one day you realize you are at another level and nothing feels better than being able to play whatever you want.

not so easy when you're at a hell hole of a Catholic school where you have to wear uniforms, no long hair, telling your side of the story to the teacher yelling at you is "talking back", you can get in trouble for what goes on outside of school (not their $%#&ing business), and we can't have a girlfriend/boyfriend (again they have $%#&ing place doing anything about this).... the place is hell on Earth

And your parents won't let you go to a non-catholic school? :?

 I thought so, too!!
Have you had a talk about it with them, though? Like have you explained to them why you dislike school so much and why?

And I'm sorry if this is too personal, but I'm just curious--did your parents both go to a catholic school?
Once again, I'm sorry if that's too personal. You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

Damn, that is crazy. All I can say is that you seem to me like a strong person and you have good spirit. You do what you need to do but remember that you sure as hell don't want to have to go back to that place so you might as well get it done. Not only that but think of all of the material you must get for your music from dealing with those crazies :D
