I see I have a lot of work to do yet. I'm still learning chords, progressions, and scales. I suppose that never ends.

I guess I need to find some easy "beginner" tunes that I would feel good about learning. 8)

VT that Jet song I linked is a great starter song. The verse is just A maj. The pre chorus is G,C,D. The chorus is A,C,D,A.

The riffs not hard either and a great expressive insert.

Thanks... just snagged the video with my Youtube downloader. I can split it up, loop it, whatever. Then I'll throw it on disc to play through the JVC 5.1 surround system connected to the TV. 8)

I've been piecing together Hendrix's version of Voodoo Chile since I started playing and recently started up on it again. I had a stripped down version going but now I'm able to add in some of that Hendrix flavor to make it sound more like the real deal.

yeah i learned part of Voodoo Child (Hendrix's is Child, by the way, SRV's is Chile. just thought i'd point that out, but it's not a big deal) and once i got my wah pedal it sounded amazing. i started to learn SRV's instead though because it's longer and i like the more bluesy feel to it.

Playing with the wah is so much fun with that song. :D And when you can turn up loud enough to get feedback... 8)

The Stones - Brown Sugar. Not very hard I know but it's driving me nuts. I'm just about to rip the low E string off my Tele (like Keef) as I keep hitting it and it ruins the sound. Grrrr! :x
