Just so you know John Mayer is the most polarizing figure in the Fender forum. You could just put his name as a thread and get 100 responses. It's the closest you will ever find to people being rude on this board. I'm going to see him in Edmonton in April and I'm excited. He looks like he always puts on a good show and I love his bluesy stuff. I love the guy and I think that he's very talented. People can say all they want about the guy but if Eric Clapton lets him stay at his place and work on stuff with him then that's good enough for me.

I saw him in the Spring of '05 with Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan. Jordan was the driving force in that trio. At that point, he sounded like a SRVaughanabee...

He has come a long way in a short time.

One of the local dj's gave me tickets to see JM at Rupp Arena i Lexington, KY. It was during the Continuum tour. He was great. Congrats on the tickets. JM puts on a great show and I like how he interacts with audience.
