Some of my favorite "weapons".......

M4, American Standard, Tricked out Stainless free floating AR15 (this one built by me out of the finest parts around. A seriously accurate rifle out to 500 yards) with ACOG optics, and an AUG. On the floor my Trusty Glock and stainless steel Colt 1911 (another built by me).

How about drugs, alcohol, industrial polluters that poison water and land, oppressive governments that enslave and starve their people...
I can think of many things that bring pain and suffering to millions of people.

There is no such thing as someone who doesn't believe in guns. As soon as they get in a life threatening situation, they call someone with a gun to come rescue them.

Remember... when seconds count... the police will be there in a few minutes. 8)

Believe it or not there is a lot to do with guns besides shoot at people. The shooting sports are very popular around here and there a shoots every weekend with lots of people having a great time. I took some Australians I work with out to the desert for a day of shooting and they had a great time. They couldnt get enough we must have burned through a few thousand rounds. They said it reminded them of how it was in Australia before they gave up their rights back in the eighties.

Funny, in cheyenne wyoming, i never gave gun laws much thought when i went to purchase my springfield armory mil spec hi capacity 1911 45 acp. pistol. i bought it for myself on my birthday, and by the time i finished the form, the phone call call was completed by the shop owner, and i laid down my cash, and he gave me my gun and threw in a free box of ammo as a gift for my birthday. the transaction took less than two minutes. you can shoot almost anywhere outside city limits in wyoming without being bothered by law enforcement.

CV, I've got an old pistol that my grandfather gave me. It's a Smith&Wesson/Winchester 32-20. Ever heard of one of those? I seem to remember a Edgar Winter song where he uses a 32-20 to shoot his woman or something similar to that. :?

That's 32-20 is a old rifle round and a lot of revolvers were made for it as well so the idea was one round rife and handgun need be carried. You could even buy Colt Armies in that cal.
