Who likes to collect firearms as well as the guitars. I like them both and enjoy my time out hunting and at the range just like I enjoy my music playing.

Yes a few hunting trips to Canada have been interesting for shipping my rifles there. Used to be easy by Fed-X but those days are gone. Last hunt the guides supplied what we needed.

I always wanted a nice .357 revolver to shoot around the farm. Only thing I have ever really hunted with is the bow.

Handguns in Canada = Good luck with that.

Yeah, gun laws here are terrible. they do nothing to cut down on crime, but make nothing but hassle for legitimate users.

I only have 2 hunting rifles, and a shotgun anymore, and truthfully because of my job, i haven't hunted in a decade, just too busy that time of year.

I still fish, and i think this year i may take up fly fishing.

Hound Dog Taylor shot his other guitar player Brewer Phillips during a heated band argument in '75, twice. Hound Dog's band never played together after that! See, guns and guitars don't mix children. :!:

Nevin, there's an upside to our strict gun controls we have a gun related fatality rate almost as low as the UK.Here in NL we have one of the lowest firearms related crime rates in the western hemisphere.I have some friends in the Forces who collect guns and they have no problem buying hand guns but where they use them and how they transport and store them is highly regulated and that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a small price to pay for safety and peace of mind.

Ted Nugent, a rabid NRA and second amendment advocate, once stated that "Vermont is the only state with true second amendment rights".

Maybe I have a few firearms.

It's funny... I hunted for years. Started hunting when I was twelve. Have been shooting since I was a wee boy of 5. I don't purchase the hunting tags any more. I really have no desire to kill an animal just for fun. I still love venison but I am the only one in this home who eats it so I can get all I need from friends. Butchering a deer is a lot of tedious work anyway, it takes the better part of a day to get it all done and in the freezer by myself. 8)

I wouldn't call myself a collector, but I have a couple of handguns. 8)

I have a 1893 Colt six shooter. I don't shoot it, but it is chambered for 44/40 black powder cartridges.
