anyone else listen to Cafe Del Mar music?
imo it is a timeless fine art on many levels
it is like ambient, chill, cafe music with samples of lots of famous songs but not necessarily rock. classical, rock, idie, danceish... all sorts of stuff
iv been listening to it almost every day for almost 2 years now.

there are like 11+ cds of it now
you cant judge them all by one cd there are some golden gems in lots of thier cds
if you like a relaxing, musical atmosphere i highly recomend it.

here is a wiki link
read it

I'm a fan excess, have been for many years. I've been to the Cafe del Mar in Ibiza a few times, a magical place. Check out youtube for lots of great vids, relaxing, ambient, electronic, you name it, they do it.

Yeah nice vibe sitting at a bar overlooking the beach n just chillin, here's one that got me, lapping up the last of the evening sun outside a little beach bar halfway through our third jug of Mojito and this starts playing, beautiful vocals DeadmauS got back home not even knowing who it was until my son starts playing it , seems he's a massive fan, most of it not really my taste but this one hits the spot, 9 minute version could do with some ripping guitar through it IMO, got to keep up with the kids

Yeah, I like Cafe del Mar, but more as background music. It's nice to listen to at times - like when we have people over for dinner. Very mellow.

Cheers, Gridlok 8)

I've also been to the actual Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza. Very cool.
