Next Thursday I'm going to see the rheumatologist about the arthritis in my hands. They had to make sure that no other meds worked before trying me on the new med. These new biologic drugs such as Embril and Humira etc. are supposed to be very effective in curing or at least lessening the ravages of arthritis so with any luck in a few months I'll be able to go back to playing professionally again and making money to support my GAS attacts.Besides all that performing is something that gets in your blood and never goes away. How I long for the old days of being set upon by hordes of fans trying to touch the hem of my garb...lol. Seriously I just want to be able to sit and play guitar for a few hours without pain or discomfort, that alone would be a Godsend anything else would be gravy.

Good luck man! That sucks to hurt!

Let's say... I'm feelin' your pain. 8)

Wow. Best wishes to my fellow Canadian board mate. I have the hope that guitar is something that I will be able to do well into my sunset years so hearing that makes me count my lucky stars. I was very athletic when I was younger and through hockey, football, basketball and other less intelligent acts of being a young cocky guy my hands took quite a beating. Arthritis is in my family too so I'm always hoping for the best.

Professional liability from wear and tear. Although if it is Rheumatoid arthritis, this autoimmune condition causes the body to attack its own soft-tissues and joints.

I hope that is not the case. If it is, I hope it is under control.

I really hope you feel& stay better ASAP.
