Now that rap disaster with lil Wayne Eminem and who ever the other guy was went on for about 5 minutes with about 2 bleeped out. I have now seen the truth that music is in shambles and there is no talent on the horizon that looks like it will save the day.

The other guys name is Drake. He was on a TV show here in Canada called Degrassi the Next Generation. Degrassi has been on Canadian TV since I was a little kid and I am 36. He apparantly is huge in the rap world but heres the catch...he hasn't even released an album!!

Well, it was a tribute to the late, great Les Paul himself. Seems fitting.

Jeff Beck is a true master............I feel lucky to have experienced the performances and music by someone like that in my lifetime.

Try listening to his really old stuff. Meaning, when he had singers. Once he got into all the instrumental stuff, he lost me too as try as I did, I just can't get into it either. I'll be the first to admit though, he is still beyond amazing.

WOW guys, I didn't think this would get anywhere near two pages. I was really disappointed with all the performances after Lady Gaga and Elton John. A twenty year old kid couldn't hit the same notes as Stevie Nicks(62). John Bon Jovi can't remember what key his biggest hits are in. A bunch of fools cursed their out brains for five minutes. Green Day, as the guys on WPLR put it, "jumped the shark". I can't believe it took FOUR guys to wright Single Ladies.

"Jeff Beck and the Rough and Ready Group", that's my favorite album by him; Cozy Powell on Drums, no less! "Situation" is a great tune. Yet, my absolute favorite tune off that album and one of my favorites of all time is, "New Ways/Train Train". I think that was the toughest song to this day that I ever figured out. Man, that is one busy song for some smokin' guitar work!!

"Les Paul also invented the solid body electric guitar"

The anouncers should read up on their stuff. I hate common misconceptions.

Thanks for posting, I thought Les Pauls was the better but kudos to Jeff for a job well done.

Old Imelda's a decent lass. Beck's been a fan of hers for awhile.

"How High the Moon" is a difficult song to play well.

If anyone wants to hear some rare Jeff Beck, this guy has quite a bit of
quality bootz :
