Hello everyone! i am new to the community so i'm not sure if this question was asked before.

I would just like to know if fender has small guitars for small hands? not the kind of small for children, but smaller for women guitar players.

Thank you so much! :D

Try a mustang or jaguar they have shorter, smaller necks

Ditto for Mustang and Jaguar they both have very comfortable necks and sound great.

+ 3 for the Mustang; it was originally designed for students; small and comfortable, and it can wail!

although if you decide to get a VINTAGE mustang make sure you ask which neck it has because they originally had two neck sizes but the reissue is the smaller of the two

I'm a woman with small hands and I have no problem playing my Standard Fender Stratocaster. In fact, I even play a Standard Fender Jazz Bass. So, don't discount trying out a Strat or a Tele. Though standard size, they are not all that big nor hard to play.

+0 (that's a joke) :)

You don't need to worry about the size of your hands...you need to spend time practicing on your instrument. :)

I'm not being judgmental here, I am trying to help you. :)

I just want to point out that the size of your hand does not matter.

Bill Monroe is the father of Blue Grass music and he has huge hands playing a tiny instrument (mandolin). It didn't seem to slow him down. :)

Also: I play a 8 oz. Tenor uke that is about a foot long. I am a 6.0 ft man. I hope I have given you a little perspective.

Peace,

Bob

but for myself, being 4'10, the SHORTER necks on mustangs and jaguars are ideal. it makes thing a bit easier to reach lol

Edit: also you're talking about having bigger hands on small necks but small hands on a bigger neck can be much harder to play

Lots of practice is the way to go. That said, it is true that you need to find the most comfortable instrument for you. Good luck. :)

I'm 13 and I've been playing for 3 years and I cant do that ..... then again, thats why I like Kurt Cobain, he was a horrible guitarist but rather than playing like a horrible guitarist he made his own style

Edit: talking about the vid not practicing lol

Mustang and Jagmaster are smaller scale guitars. There is also a Squier Stratocaster 3/4 scale for smaller people. I recommend you go out and play as many guitars as you can (and not just Fender/Squier brands either) and get the one that feels the best for you. With that being said I have seen a little boy about 8-9 years old, roughly 4'8" to 4'11" playing a standard sized Stratocaster and doing it well.

Welcome to the forums, you will find tons of helpful people here. As for you question, do try the Mustang, or maybe a Les Paul Junior or Melody Maker, After that, just try a V neck Strat... I think you will find that with practice you can play any guitar. Good Luck with your search

Bill

The Jazzmasters are short scales, too.

That's not accurate. The Jazzmaster has a 25.5" scale--the same as a Strat or Tele. The Jaguar and Squier Jagmaster have 24" short scales. 8)
