my song is sweet child o' mine from gh2. i can do it on expert and i memorized the entire beginning. i can also play the beginning on my real guitar too

While some guitarists do play Guitar Hero, most, including myself, think its kind of a joke....but if you have fun, then more power to you. But be warned, bringing up Guitar Hero on other guitar forums sometimes may not lead to a warm, friendly, welcoming conversations....

esp you did not say your age. I know your Dad and was wondering if this sounds familiar. I tried to get my youngest son to play guitar when he was 8 and since he is lefty I bought a little acoustic and strung it lefty. He took to it a bit than put it down. When he turned 11 he and my older son wanted Guitar Hero for Christmas which I really did not want to buy as I said the house has real guitars and you want to waste hours on a game when you can play the real thing.

Anyway after 3 months of them having it I come home and am hearing Ozzy,G&R, Hendrix and all this great music. Two months after that my youngest son comes to me and says he wants to play the real thing. Well he is on his way ,also he played Guitar Hero righty so he plays the guitar righty now. So in a way my view has changed about the game and really owe it to the game that he plays now. Did something like this happen with you.lol
