Over my short time of being on here, I haven't seen any other australians. Am I the only one, or are they just not active or something.

Well that makes at least two of you guys. I think that I'm the only Icelander here.

Does that make me special 8)

No, but no need: I'll second it. :D

I have a lot of time for things Icelandic. And for anyone as happens to be wondering about Nonni's sig:

Allt veit eg, Óðinn,
hvar þú auga falt,
í þeim hinum mæra
Mímis brunni;
drekkur mjöð Mímir
morgun hverjan
af veði Valföðurs.
Vituð þér enn eða hvað?

It is from an ancient Icelandic text known as the Prose Edda. It is from the section called Gylfaginning - that is, The Beguiling of Gylfi - and Nonni's quoted section means:

All know I, Odin,
where the eye thou hiddest,
in the wide-renowned
well of Mímir;
Mímir drinks mead
every morning
from Valfather's wage.
Wit ye yet, or what?

...So now ya know!!! :o

BTW: to rileytheguitarist - look around. This place is full of Aussies. One or two Kiwis too...

Cheers - C

If you're from New Zealand it won't be long until we claim you as one of our own. Just like the guys from Split Enz, Dragon or even Russel Crowe! Some of our favourite Aussies are New Zealanders!

Cheers.

Hahaha you know you could be right... Ive considered that many times. Im the only Kiwi in my family, the rest are aussies here and over there.

To be honest, Im all for an ANZAC dollar. I cant see why it hasnt been discussed between NZ/AU. What do you think, they did it with the Euro, I think it will be great for both our nations.

Lets not forget this handsome beast however:

not to worry though, we took the drummer for this band:

BTW- Im going to see AC/DC this thursday at Western Springs, Auckland. It should be a bloody good show mate 8) Phil Rudd has a house in Whakatane with his wife. Back in the day, he lived in Melbourne
