Gotta love Peavey! I just got a Vyper 2 or 3 or whatever a couple months ago with the sanpera 2 pedal and I dont think I'll ever buy another amp lol

Considering they sell new for $200, there may be something beyond repair with this amp...or it might be a good deal...but still, since they oftentimes cannot get into specifically what might be wrong, this could be a total money pit.... :roll:

Jason take this very seriously. Whatever you do if you are not familiar with this work do not attempt to fix an amp, bring it to someone who does it for a living as it cost nothing for an estimate. But an amp is very dangerous and God forbid you can get hurt bad or worse.

Yeah, 5 watts may not sound like much, but you can really fry, burn, or shock yourself severely on "low" wattage amps.

Around 30,000V on the power rail of a A/B valve amp. Dont know if thats true of a Class A. Not something I'd like to risk.

I must say its unusual to see a broken Peavey, I dont like their amps but they are usually indestructable.

Floyd. I tried a viper out a few months back. Not a bad amp at all for the money. I was quite impressed.
