Here's a pic of my wife and I, who puts up with my GAS and has been very supportive to a point. We've been married, going on 3 years now, and she is just simply great! Image

Yes indeed, those of us who have wives that allow us to indulge in all this are surely to be appreciated, thanked and kept for life!

Don't forget to let them indulge in and for you to take most seriously what's important to them too!!!

I guess you've heard about our new home in Florida, and and her little entertainments like HSN, f'rinstance :? There are two things which are a must around my house when returning home. Check the mailbox, and check the front door for boxes. Then there's the 10mg of Valium which are obligatory premedication before opening the bills from Amex.

My wife's motto: "When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping :!: "

In the words of our repected colleague Alain:....Vive l'amour :!: Vive la difference :!:

Great thread. My wife is a stay at home mom right now only working part time so she can't get me gear at this point but for all of the holidays she always gets me books about guitars or guitarists and picks and strings and cool stuff like that. For me what's important is the support I get from her and the fact that she listens and tries to be interested in what I'm blabbering on about all of the time. Here's to awesome wives!

Another happy camper here - my wife not only tolerates, but supports my passions for both music and photography! She doesn't play any instruments (although she did sing a harmony on one of our tracks), but she enjoys going out and shooting photos as much as I do.

If she played, I'd absolutely have to do a shot of our guitars together...however, I have to settle for a shot of our cameras instead - His and Hers!

(As you can see, she has little bitty hands!)

There are plenty of inapprobriate jokes there but I'm not going there because I've big camera myself

Bob,
I love those Nikons...both of mine need major cleanings and tuneups, but I would never sell them; I bought them new; the FTn in 1969, and the F3-HP in 1984
