I am sitting here chatting with my wife and she asked me if my latest addition my new Telecoustic has cured me of my GAS. I said "I think so why?", she says " Well, with us being in the Army and moving so much I am worried about moving it and anything that could happen to it. I don't want to see any of your stuff get damaged." I was thinking she would be saying I have too much or it is too expensive, but no Awesome wife is more concerned about damage to my gear. I am really lucky to have a wife who supports my profession, being an Infantry Officer's wife is a really tough racket in which she has to deal with more than should ever be asked of a wife and she never complains. She just smiles and supports what I do. I am also very lucky to have a wife who knows my passion for music and encourages me to get any gear I want. So now that I have given a great big salute to my bride, lets hear it for all of yours! This is a pic of us.

ABS, what a fantastic photo; you two truly look like you belong together..you both have the look of inner peace (except for GAS pains, which can be excruciating  ). She is definitely a keeper.

We thank you and your wife for your service and recognize your many cudos to her. If you want a good chuckle, get yourself the current Premier Guitar. There's a humorous article on GAS in there.

May providence continue to smile on you both.

What a great photo! You look great together. I've been married for 21 years and we're a bit past the lovey-dovey, cuddly-wuddly stuff to be honest. Oh yes. Long gone are those halcion days.

Nowadays I just buy the gear and she just rolls her eyes when it arrives :)

Next time you, Steve and I get to raise a glass together, there's a topic of conversation.

I hope the junior members of this Forum are appreciating the message behind many of the photos which are posted on various threads throughout the Forums...i.e.
"This is still your daddy's rock and roll."

Yes indeed, those of us who have wives that allow us to indulge in all this are surely to be appreciated, thanked and kept for life!

Don't forget to let them indulge in and for you to take most seriously what's important to them too!!!
