Thanks everyone for the recommendations...I'm up to 17 so far (yep I'm really writing 'em down). I love to explore new music and music I've heard before but in a new light.

Keep 'em coming! 8)

A Concert For George (Harrison) ditto the good sound system mentioned in a previous post.

This is a really good show, loved Joe Brown.

I have a ton of live dvd's so lots to pick from. CT @ Budhokan or KISS in Tokyo '77, Stones Twickenham from the Four FLicks set are my personal favorites.

My wife tolerates the GAS for equip more than the 400 plus dvd's that I need to organize.

Have to agree with the Concert for George, Led Zep the 2 DVD set, Cant believe no one mentioned SRV Live at the El Mocambo,Gary Moore Ballads and Live Blues,The 2 Crossroads Festivals,AC/DC Stiff Upper Lip -live, Jeff Beck Flash in Japan with Santana and Lukather, Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scots, Freddie King Live at the Sugarbowl 1972, G3 Live in Denver, Eric Clapton live 2003 One more Car One More Rider- maybe an older EC but a better show you will not find and his Over The Rainbow made the hair on my arms stand up. I have worn this one out. I bought a Keith Urban live DVD after reading about him in a few mags and it was really damn good and made a fan of me.

...I was trying to stick to movies where actual musicians actually play their instruments...so yes, Spinal Tap would be a good choice, too...as would A Mighty Wind

Cadillac Records would have been a cool movie if they would have had their facts straight (since they insisted using real names of real people). Which they didn't, not by the longest of shots.
