I've seen so many great guitarist's in my life time, a few that spring to mind.....

Rory Gallagher,
Ry Cooder,
Gary Moore,
Scott Gorham,
John Martyn,
Brian May,
Stuart Adamson,

I'd be here all day, if I were to remember them all

My all time favorites, that I've seen are John Lee Hooker, Clapton, Buddy Guy, SRV, B.B King, Dickey w/Allman Bros. and Alvin Lee. I can't pick one, 'cause they all have motivatied me to pick up my guitar as soon as I get home from a show. :)

Chuck Berry
B B King
Eric Clapton
Bo Diddley
Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown
Mark Knoffler

…don’t make me choose!
But if I had to, it would be between Eric Clapton and B B King…though I love Chuck Berry…
Gatemouth was awesome, too…of course Bo Diddley…

Tough call, i can say 2 of my favorites were Steve howe when he was in GTR (cant remember the venue) sorry but im only 40 and too young to have seen him in yes.

And the other was Chuck Berry at the warwick musical theater, he rocked the house like nobodys business when i saw him about 20 years ago.

Two very different but excellent guitarists imho.

Always was blown away by Trey Anastasio. Gilmour is another one of my favorites. Alex Lifeson's solo on La Villa Strangiato is pure bliss.

I also have to say that the guy who played Guitar on the Roger Waters In the Flesh Tour 99/00 was unbelievable. I was blown away simply by the fact that he played a right handed guitar left handed and thus was completely upside down. Must have been very difficult to learn that way considering he'd be a hard student to teach that way or likewise, having to think upside down when watching technique or learning songs.

How could I forget Eric Clapton  Also another who came to mind Michael Scenker (sp?) UFO, he was pretty amazing live. No doubt more will come to mind, like Fast Eddie from Motorhead

Dave Murray - Iron Maiden.

This last tour was phenomenal, lucky enough to see it 3 times and even to catch the very last show of the tour. Check out the Tour Jet piloted by none other than Bruce Dickinson the singer... even if you're not a fan you must admit that is pretty damn cool and is living proof that ROCK lives on!
