1. Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
2. Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love
3. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
4. Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood
5. Led Zeppelin - THE BROWN BOMBER! Led Zeppelin II (or IV... this was a tough choice)

Interesting question. No way to get any sort of consensus. Interestingly though, the albums on here are predominantly strat driven... except for the zeppelins. Surprised to see John Mayer pop up... REALLY??

Here are some of my favourites.

1. Muse - H.A.A.R.P. - No doubt the absolut best live album I've ever heard.
2. Foo Fighters - Echos, Silence Patience and Grace - Just awesome
3-4. System of a Down - Hypnotize and Mezmerise - After couple of let down albums this two where in my cd player for months.
5. Ida Maria - Fortress Around my Heart - Men that girl has a great voice, quite possible the best voice in the business today.

We both have an Izzy Stradlin album! For me it was a toss up between Ju Ju Hounds and On Down The Road but I went for that one simply cos of Sweet Caress. Exile On Main St too. We got similar tastes! 8)

Seems like Pink Floyd are comin up loads as usual too.

Nice. I don't usually see a lot of love for that live J Geils album.

I'd have to put
Exile on Main Street
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Electric Ladyland
Abbey Road
Machine Head

on my Top 5 (Studio) albums. I'd pick anther 5 Live albums if allowed ...

In no paticular order, my 5 favorite albums (today):

1. Iron Maiden -- Number of the Beast
2. Metallica-- Master of Puppets
3. Ozzy-- Diary of a Madman
4. Black Sabbath--Heaven and Hell
5. Pink Floyd-- Wish You Were Here

At least one of these CD's are in my car's multi-CD holder in my car at any one time.

The fact that the last 3 posts has Exile On Main St, Pink Floyd AND Izzy Stradlin puts me in good stead. Love it!

EDIT: 3 in the last 4!
