I think we've discussed this before, but I'll play along.

Not necessarily in the top order, but if asked today this is what I'd come up with.

1. KISS Destroyer
2. Fleetwood Mac-Rumors
3. Blues Brothers-The Definitive Blues Bros
4. John Prine-Sessions at West 54th
5. The Rolling Stones-Shine a Light

I always find this so hard.....but in no particular order and with a lot of dodging lol

1) Def Leppard - Pyromania
2) Eric Johnson - Ah Via Musicom
3) Def Leppard - Hysteria
4) Lynyrd Skynyrd - God and Guns (really like this record!)
5) can't name another all out favourite atm...

This isn't however a reflection of my favourite artists which include Free and Clapton, purely because I don't have a particularly favourite album, a lot of their albums aren't as consistent as those mentioned above and I'm more a fan of their work over a period of time....

Notable mentions also go out to:

several Dokken albums,
Blue Murder's debut album,
1987 by Whitesnake,
Johny the Fox by Thin Lizzy,
Wish you were here by Pink Floyd,
Bite Down hard by Britney Fox,
Dr Feelgood by Motley Crue,
Paranoid by Black Sabbath,
Dirt by Alice in Chains,
Angel Dust by Faith no More,
Showdon by Collins Cray and Copeland,
SRV's first 2 records
Aerosmith - Permanent Vacation
Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd,
Eternal Devestation by Destruction,
Enemy of God by Kreator,
Darkness Descends by Dark Angel,
Seven Churches by Possessed,
the Top Gun Soundtrack,
Heart by Heart,
Jeff beck's Guitar Shop,
Heartwork by Carcass,
Who's been talking by Robert Cray
Hungry by XYZ
Agent Orange by Sodom,
Maximum security by tony Macalpine,
Odyssey by Yngwie Malmsteen
Van Halen 12 and 1984

Top five favorite listening albums... in no particular order.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
The Beatles - Abbey Road
The Doobie Brothers - Toulouse Street
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Stevie Ray Vaughan And Double Trouble - Live Alive

Hard to narrow it down to just 5 when there are so many more I like equally as well. Good topic Riley! 8)

Judas Priest- Screaming for Vengence
Kiss- Destroyer
Dio- Holy Diver
Def Leppard- High n Dry

Sorry people, guess I am stuck in the 80's! Really, I do love a lot of current music but I always seem to go back to the music of my (H.S.) youth. And these are my top 5 from that era.
