Looked at one today. I almost bought it a few weeks back but picked up the Bugera Vintage 5 instead. It was a toss-up but the used Bugera won by $10! Wouldn't say there's any flies on either one of 'em. You're going to love it. 5 watts up close 'n personal is way louder than most people think and with a little gain it's dirty without damaging your hearing!

"What'd he say?" "I said it's dirty without damaging your hearing!"

I absolutely love mine. Now I can write without my DeVille blowing my head up.

I always have it at 12 O'Clock and run a few pedals through it. My Boss FDR-1 really gave me a whole lot of options for it but it's also great straight in and clean.

Hope you enjoy it!

CC

Having trouble posting pics. I 've been playing my squire Classic Vibe through it and really like it so far. Would hook my overdrive pedal to it if I could find the power AC adaptor

That's the price I am waiting for them to drop too. They are great amps to Mod but the Mods are costly so its best to get the amp cheap and then resell them.

The one I looked at a couple of weeks back had $149 on it and the dude wouldn't budge on that. For $99 I would have snapped it right up! 8)

There great to mod by changing out the resistor to a vintage mini choke and using axiom transformers. You get as kits or buy separate.

Got one a while back.

1. swap out the crap tubes for better ones, I went with Tung Sol
2. Put in a better speaker, I used a Weber.

Sounds real nice for what it is. And it's way more portable than my V3 so I can easily park my kiester on the porch and play.

Had one for about year now. Definitely worth the price. Don't mind the stock tubes, but will replace them with Tung Sols at some point. Nice balanced sound and fun to play.

I only paid $99 for mine. I had looked at them before when it was $149 but ended up spending my money on my Classic Vibe Tele instead. So when I saw this one for that price I was all over it!
